The dish is stunningly painted in famille rose enamels with a central motif of a front-facing five clawed red Dragon with green eyes. The Dragon is surrounded by a number of delicate butterflies, all concealed with an outer boarder of scrolling vines flowers and gourds with four. Various motifs depicting sacred objects and auspicious fruits and flowers. A rare chance to acquire such a beautiful and impressive imperial piece of Chinese porcelain. Please see all Photos.
