99 with lots closing the evening of Monday, April 18th. This listing is for a large Chinese hand painted black lacquer box dating to the 19th century. The box is in rectangular form with cut corners and intricately painted with scenes of figures and trim of dragons. The box measures 15 x 12 inches and displays well. It appears that there were some old splits to the lacquer that were professionally restored. Other than that just some very minor stress lines and wear to the gilt. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed.
