A Chinese yellow chicken bone nephrite jade tube carved in low relief with hydra and cloud symbols. There are two oblique conical holes at the ends that do not go all the way through as there is material impacted inside the tube. One side of the stone is a true butter yellow altered chicken bone and the other side is mottled yellow/grey/white. The soft polish is consistent on all areas of the jade except inside the holes. This chicken bone nephrite has been density tested with a specific gravity of 2.9. It measures nearly 7cm long and is almost 3cm in diameter on the larger end of the tube which tapers to 2.5cm at the other end. It weighs 50.56 grams. Thank you for your interest.
