This is a beautiful 19th century copper bronze cense with food dog lid and lovely dragon and flowers in relief. There is also some and chasing on the surface of the censer. It has been heavily employed as evidenced in two sets of repairs to the bottom, one in white metal and the other in copper bronze. These of course do not effect the appearance of the object. The censer is 6″ high by approximately 4″ wide. Its a small but beautiful example with great detail.
