The silver is from China. This cuff has a lovely organic character to the interior and exterior due to the repoussé and it being repurposed. Antique Chinese Ancestor Portrait In Beautiful Robe Dragons In Gold Jade/pearls
It is a museum quality piece showing a royalty dressed in his best. No details were spared: His headdress with pearl? Beads and the lotus flower in gold, the amazing robe in mostly red silk with gold dragon embroidery which is almost three dimensional and so precisely done, the doves on his chest and even the fabric on his seat: Just an amazing piece of art. His face is very expertly done too. The gray bottom piece of his chair when magnified, appears to have been applied on to the paper. THERE IS A SIGNATURE ON THE BACK IN CHINESE AS SHOWN, and an old label from a NYC restoration gallery. I believe this is an extra special piece with a distinctive value. Pictures were taken with and without flash so a color variation is expected. Comes framed with NO glass. Size: About 24 x 39 framed. Frame is about 1 wide. Please note the condition and the pictures.
