Chinese Ming Dragon Decorated Nephrite Jade Brush Pot. A delightfully carved nephrite jade brush pot. The rounded pot depicts two dragons gliding across the surface. Amongst these two dragons are flaming pearls and various sized clouds. The pot is coloured pale green with hints of grey, various small patches of both black & white across the body. The pot has a height of 4.2 inches (10.6 cm) & a diameter of 4 inches (10.2 cm). It weighs 520 g. There are quite a few nibbles on the lower edge from standing, mostly worn quite smooth with centuries of use. The lid is a modern addition.
