An antique beautiful quality Chinese silver export silver box which has a cylindrical shape with embossed dragons which have exceptional detail/definition one wraps itself around the entire outside the other adorns the top which has a blank/vacant cartouche in the centre and they sit proud of the box. It is a very aesthetically pleasing design even more so with the background to the dragons being planished/hand hammered and the original push lid is a perfect fit and both parts are gilded. It is not a small box and will arrived gift boxed. Material – silver- 90 standard [900/1000]. Hallmarks/marks – WH for Wang Hing & Co-90- unidentified Chinese symbol. Measurements – 5.5cm diameter-4cm high. Weight – 70 grams. Condition – beautiful condition-no dents-holes-splits-some light surface marks to cartouch and underside-lid locates fine and removes fine-there is 1 very small patch of the inside rim that is not 100 % totally smooth but it has no impact on the functionality what so ever and was difficult to capture in the images-but nothing to worry about.
