Despite its very old age, this bowl has been very well taken care of and has no cracks, chips, crazing, breaks or any repairs. The only signs of wear that this 19th Century piece shows are a few very small pit marks on the inside bottom of the bowl that are barely noticeable and are natural for the age of this bowl. There is also a small black dot on the inside bottom of the bowl that I do not know why it is there, but it is smooth. This beautiful bowl has a detailed multi-colored design that goes around the rim, 2 red dragons blowing out smoke and a blue waves design going around the bottom of the bowl. The Intricate painted design has held up very well over the many years and is still in near perfect condition with very minimal wear to some of the coloring around the rim that is not very noticeable.
