Antique Chinese Chasing Dragon Sterling Silver Cups
I have two of these very old Chinese Sterling Silver cups. One was polished about a year ago; the other was left unpolished. Each one weighs over 3.38 troy ounces. They are 4 inches tall, top is 2 5/8 inches wide, and bottom is 2 1/8 inches wide. You will receive two cups. Please See my other items. Sometimes No Reserve items. Antique Chinese Chasing Dragon Sterling Silver Drink Shaker & 12 cups 1142 grams
Antique Chinese Chasing Dragon Sterling Silver Drink Shaker & 12 cups – 1142 grams Shaker is 9″ x 3 1/4″ and weighs 629 grams and has a dent at the bottom. It also has 2 small dents near one of the dragon’s foot. It is beautifully hand crafted with hammered dragons on sides and top with bamboo in the background. The cups have a matching dragon on each one and they measure 2 5/16″ tall x 1 3/4″ across the top. The 12 cups weigh 513 grams total with a hallmark on each bottom. The cups are in very good condition with a couple having a minor dent. In general, the set is very nice and shows slight wear with time and usage. I have not polished the pieces except to show the hallmarks. They vary in darkness because of how they were stored. WONDERFUL ANTIQUE SET CHINESE EXPORT SILVER 6 CUPS & SAUCERS DRAGON DECOR 1880. Ornate antique set of Chinese export silver cups and saucers – Canton province, circa 1880. The main motif on both cups and saucers, is a Deeply chased, highly detailed pair of Dragons – very dramatic 3-dimensional depiction of 4-claw dragons chasing the heavenly pearl – on the cups the dragon heads meet on both side of a shield-shaped monogram plate. The saucers with a large Chinese character at the center with 2 dragons chasing each other around the rim. The cups with an UNUSUAL snake handle, finely depicted with a swirled tail, their heads pick over the rim. Condition is excellent for the age – no losses, dents or repairs – a minor, general age ware – please view detailed pictures. Each cup is 9.3 cm wide including handle – mouth diameter is 6.5 cm and the height is 7.5 cm – each saucer is 12.3 cm in diameter – the total combined weight is 767.5 grams. Chinese Export Silver 4 Cups DRAGON & SACRED PEARL OF WISDOM Wax Seals ANTIQUE
This set of 4 antique Chinese export silver footed cups features exceptionally detailed dragons wrapping around the bowls, chasing a mystical flaming “sacred pearl” of wisdom. The insides of the bowls are smooth and each holds 60 ml or 2 fluid ounces. Each of the 4 pieces has a wax export duty seal, impressed with Chinese characters as shown in the center of the bottoms. The cups each measure 4 ½” tall by 1 7/8″ across the top. The combined weight of the 4 pieces is 297 grams. All 4 pieces are in nice pre owned condition with light wear as shown. I have tried to capture the condition as honestly as possible in the 11 images so please make sure to see them all. As always, my merchandise is guaranteed authentic and in the condition described.
