Chinese Aubusson Gold Dragon Handwoven Rug 5’11 x 3. A quality Chinese, Aubusson st. And fringed dragon rug. Dating from the late 20th century, of Chinese origin. Field, with sculpted Chinese dragon. This rug has a deep, dense, soft pile, with selvages and long fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations. Very heavy for its size. This quality, handsome rug is in a fairly reasonable condition with some flaws, benefit a clean but could be used as is. This rug measures approximately 181 cm long including fringes, and 92. Few small singe marks to pile, no burning, towards one edge. A reasonably good regular shape for handwoven rug. Benefit from a clean but can be used as is.
