This antique Chinese drum features a beautifully hand-painted design of a dragon and phoenix on its leather tack head. Its origin is of Chinese descent and it is categorized as an antique Asian artifact. The drum is a unique addition to any collection and showcases the artistic abilities of its creators. Vintage Chinese tack head tom tom a old painted drum head. Two sided the old Chinese tack head tom toms have great visual interest for me, and historical interest as well: this type of drum was a standard feature of the early drum kits of the 1920s, 1930s and sometimes even into the early 1940s.

Presumably Antique Chinese dating to the Qing dynasty, 19th century. A great object for study or display, this will make a nice addition to any student or appreciators collection of Chinese art and artifacts. Very good condition with no detectable repairs. Break in some of the leather seat. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. Stunning Antique Chinese Leather Purse with Brass Dragon Embossed Eagle

The purse is made from leather, it has been beautifully worked with nice embossed images into the leather, there is an eagle on the front and some kind of fruiting branch on the back. The edge of the leather has metal’stiches’. There is a large brass dragon on the front of the purse. There is a brass multi chain attached to the top of the purse, this has a kind of seal on the end. The seal has a dark surround, I cannot make out what this is made of, possibly Bakelite or horn? There is another brass dragon inside this. Inside the purse it is lovely soft suede. You can see that the leather was once nicely coloured as it has not faded beneath the flap. It is in good condition, there is some minor surface wear, some fading to the colours as mention, one of the chains is no longer attached to the seal, but nothing too major. It is a stunning and very unusual purse. Please see photographs for more details. Width; 5.5 inches / 14 cm. Please drop me a line if you have any questions.
