Super excellent condition Antique Chinese silk dragon robe with gorgeous deep purple color background decorated with large dragons, cranes, clouds and so much more. The quality is superb and near mint condition. There is no damage at all only super minor stain on gold inner lining. The dragon robe itself looks amazing. Antique Vintage Chinese Gold Thread Metallic Embroidery SILK ROBE Large DRAGON

Up for your consideration is an Antique / Vintage Chinese Silk Robe. The back has one large GOLD DRAGON set amongst the clouds. The front is mostly a cloud motif and flames. The silk embroidery is exquisite using gold threads. The buttons are metal. It is in Good Condition. There are, however, some loose threads and some fading to the silk. Sleeve to sleeve (across the back) is approximately 49 wide. Back of neck to bottom is approximately 41. Sleeve opening is approximately 12 1/4. Armpit to armpit is 23. Please examine all the photos. The photo which shows a close up of the front best depicts its actual color. Antique Chinese Silk Hand Embroidered Robe w Metallic Gold Couched Dragons

This beautiful Chinese robe is made from purple silk satin, it fastens down the front with frogs. It’s hand embroidered with bats, flowers, moths and has large metallic gold couched dragons in front, back and on the sleeves. It’s lined in a pale green silk damask. The piping on the edge of the embroidered yoke is frayed a bit on both shoulders, otherwise excellent. It measures 45 inches around the chest and is 45 inches long. If there is any problem with the item, you must contact me within 3 days of receipt. As is items are non refundable. ADD ME TO YOUR. Impressive early possibly18th century Chinese cut velvet and gold metallic brocaded dragon chair cover. Inky black cut velvet that in the sunlight is very dark blue, probably indigo dye stuff. Central front facing 4 clawed dragon with flaming pearl, clouds and other Buddhist symbols with the earth and sea below, the other end with another front facing dragon. Glimmering gold metallic flat thread brocade, with scrolling tendril design on all four sides. Backed in very early silk with clouds. As found with breaks on all edges, small splits to ground scattered thruout, will need to be mounted and backed. It will arrived with acid free paper to protect and rolled carefully. Circa 1930s-40s or possibly late 19th century Chinese silk jacket with beautifully handcrafted metallic embroidery. Features three dimensional dragons & phoenixes & two-dimensional roses. The creatures also have pearls for eyes. In fair to good pre-owned condition for its age. There are issues with loose threads throughout both arm areas & along the trimmings. I tried to highlight most of the flaws in photos. Can provide more photos upon request. The silk lining is faded pink with red dye stains. Arm to arm span: 52. Length beneath collar: 26′. If someone can provide more information on age & translation of the label, that would be much appreciated.
