Red Yixing clay stoneware. Impressed marks in Chinese characters. Yee Dzu Ching Chefoo. No knob on the lid by design. Pewter with brass details, dragon eyes. Some damage to the inside of the lid, not visible when lid is in place. 11 cm tall 20 cm to the end of the spout and weighs just over 2 lbs. 4″ tall 7″ to the end of the spout. Barbedienne Chinese Cloisonne Jardiniere French Ormolu Dragon Design Mounts. Antique Chinese Cloisonne (Black) Jardiniere. This listing is for a 19th century French gold ormolu bronze mounted Chinese cloisonne bowl or jardiniere. This circa 1860s (estimate) jardiniere mounts are stamped on the bottom B in several places. The jardiniere is lobed shaped. Multi Color Flower with Butterfly Design with gold wire. I have done some research on the internet and found very similar items made by Barbedienne. (Actual Age Unknown) (Qing Period)19th Century Circa 1860s (Estimate). 19 1/4″ Handle to Handle 11″ x 7 1/2″ across the top 14″ tall to the head of the Dragon 11 tall to the top of the Jardiniere Weighs 12 lbs (Prior to Packaging). Antique Chinese Yixing Four Piece Tea Set With Pewter Dragon Mounts. A stylish and impressive four piece tea set made of red Yixing clay stoneware overlaid with serpentine pewter dragons and trim. The set consists of the following. Teapot, 10cm high, 18cm long, stoneware and pewter lid complete with finial, pewter spout and two metal swing handles, impressed marks to the base in Chinese characters and’Shanghai China. Water jug, 15cm high, 14cm spout to handle, pewter lid, pewter handle, impressed marks to the base in Chinese characters. Hot water pot, 11cm high, 18cm spout to handle, pewter spout, stoneware handle, stoneware and pewter lid, impressed marks to base’Yee Dzu Ching, Chefoo, N. Twin handled sugar bowl, 8cm high, possibly missing a lid? Impressed marks to the base in Chinese characters and’Shanghai China. All four pieces are in excellent condition. The stoneware has no chips, cracks or repairs and the pewter mounts are all intact with minimal signs of wear. Overall a truly stunning set.
