Antique Chinese Neck Ring Collar Necklace. Reticella Pieced Ajouré Dragon Design and Shou Symbol. Tested as Silver, as no hallmark, see info below. Internal diameter is 13 cm. Internal circumference is 41cm. Clasp closes with a crisp snap. Fabulous condition for age. ANTIQUE CHINESE SILVER COLLAR NECKLACE NECK RING PIERCED DRAGON DESIGN. EXPERTLY CRAFTED CHINESE SILVER NECK RING. Presenting an exceptionally fine antique Chinese silver neck ring / collar necklace. This beautifully crafted silver neck ring is magnificently decorated with pierced dragon designs surrounding an auspicious centrally engraved cartouche of a Shou character. The dragons are finely detailed and beautifully decorated with engraved patterns which wonderfully accentuate the sparkle of the silver. This stylishly tapered collar. Is hinged on one side with a tab press opening a concealed gate clasp, so easy to put on. The metal tests positive for silver at just below sterling grade, and is estimated to be approximately 800 grade silver which is standard for pieces of this nature and period. This substantial necklace weighs approx 36 grams, It has an internal circumference of 16 inches or 40.8 cms and an internal diameter of 13 cm. The necklace has a maximum thickness of 10mm and minimum of 4.8mm. This fine example is presented in excellent antique condition with no breaks, losses or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This superb piece would make a fine addition to any quality antique Chinese silver, Oriental Asian or quality antique vintage jewellery collection. Chinese Garlic Neck Dragon Phoenix Relief Porcelain Vase Qianlong Mark 19th C. This is a Chinese porcelain garlic neck vase decorated in relief with a Dragon and Phoenix in clouds, over ocean waves. Interesting features include the Dragon’s eyes which are mounted on extendable shafts. Qianlong mark on the base – in our view probably 19th Century, however I’ve never seen another like it, so it could be earlier. About 7 1/4 tall. This is the only one like it I’ve seen – it could be from the Qianlong period, however I’m going to say 19th Century to be safe. Antique Chinese Porcelain Relief Vase. This is a Chinese porcelain garlic neck vase decorated in relief with a Dragon and Phoenix in clouds, over ocean waves. Interesting features include the Dragon’s eyes which are mounted on extendable shafts. Qianlong mark on the base – in our view probably 19th Century, however I’ve never seen another like it, so it could be earlier. About 7 1/4 tall. This is the only one like it I’ve seen – it could be from the Qianlong period, however I’m going to say 19th Century to be safe. No cracks or repairs, with minor losses here and there to some of the raised edges (see pictures). The piece of paper shown it the pictures has been rolled up and stored in the vase for as long as I’ve known it. Obviously we do not want to have to deal with the hassle and expense of dealing with a return, so we are very careful to accurately represent our items, and include a large number of high resolution, larger than life photographs from every possible angle.
