Antique Qing Dynasty Polychrome Chinese Warrior On A Dragon Fish. Offered is this fabulous Chinese warrior riding a dragon fish into battle. His expression is fierce, as is the majestic mythical creature he is mounted on. I obtained this wonderful antique, rare themed creature with warrior tile from a magnificent estate filled with Asian art and artifacts over 30 years ago. On the backside, you can see the piercings for which to suspend the tile. Also, on the backside is the signature. This clay sculpture measures 13″ W x 12″ H x approx 4 3/4 D from the backside of the dragon to the toe of the warrior. The height is adjustable from the acrylic base. As the piece sits now, it stands at 15 H. The base alone is 13″ W x 1″ H, and is beveled at the top. The acrylic base has some scuffs and abrasions but can most likely be polished or buffed out. I found no cracks, chips, or repairs, and even though I do my very best to examine whatever I list for sale, there is always the possibility I may have missed something. Therefore, I ask that you carefully examine all the photos because they are an important part of the description. Hello, you are viewing my listing for a Chinese Japanese Polychrome Painted Wood Cabinet with colorful images of Dragons and Foo Dogs. This is a Small Size Wood Cabinet with two doors on the front that open. This Asian Cabinet weighs 22.2 pounds and measures 21 and 1/4″ tall by 22 and 1/4″ long by 13 and 3/4 deep. The details throughout are amazing. There is some wear present to this cabinet including some natural light hairline cracks present. There is a hairline crack present on the top back section which appears to have been professionally filled in on the backside. I have shown this in the photographs that I have provided. These are Magnificent Wood Carved Doors that may have come from a Temple Structure. Each wood door panel weighs approx. 23.4 pounds and measures approx. 81″ tall by 1 and 3/4″ thick by 14 wide. Both doors have wires attached to the back side in case you would like to hang them on a wall. There is some minor wear present to each including some light chips and some minor naturally occurring splits to the wood. There are no breaks or repairs. This is a nice antique Chinese Qing Dynasty / Republic Period polychrome painted wood carving / wall hanging with phoenix, dragon & floral decoration. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with some minor losses to the painted decoration as well as some cracks and minor losses to the carving and it comes exactly as shown.
