WELCOME TO COAST TO COAST ANTIQUES! Description – Chinese porcelain robins egg blue brush washer with two nicely detailed figural dragons on the rim. It comes with a fitted stand that has painted numbers and writing along with impressed numbers, perhaps this was an exhibition piece. Age – 19th Century Qing Dynasty (Possibly earlier). Size – The brush washer without the stand measures approximately 3 inches at it’s highest point, 7 + 1/2 inches long, and 5 + 3/4 inches wide. A rare Chinese Robin’s egg glaze tripod censer with a silver mounting and a wooden Zitan? Cover, a decoration in relief depicting two four claw dragons chasing the flaming pearl, two ruyi shaped handles, supported on three beast-head legs with claws. Private Collection (Paris / France). Porcelain, silver and wood. Only the censer (without wooden cover) is a bout 5.5 inch high (14 cm). Take also a look at my other Chinese antiques.
