ANTIQUE JAPANESE MEIJI HAND PAINTED CERAMIC IMARI LAMP w CHINESE STYLE DRAGON

Japanese late Meiji Era c. 1890 ceramic imari lamp with Chinese style Dragon. It has a hand painted design of peony flowers of various colors, other flower, leaves and decorations. The Dragon is raised from the surface as if coiled around the lamp. (see pictures 7, 8 and 9 for all angles). The lamp is made of a high fire ceramic for lasting durability. The base is made of a very hard dark wood. Having been in storage for over 100 years, it remain in fine condition. The ceramic lamp alone measures 6″ in diameter at its widest by 12″ tall (15 x 30.5 cm). With the base, light socket and lamp shade holder it measures 27 tall. The 5 claw dragon was worn by Imperial Chinese figures. We are unsure if this is a textile for display or an official rank badge. We believe it to be a Qing dynasty display textile. Fine Chinese/Manchu Robe Long Style Great Condition Dragon/Phoenix Sleevebands

Listed here is a very fine Chinese or Manchu robe. The length would indicate it was for a Manchu woman. Finely embroidered with flower baskets and individual flowers and butterflies. Contrasting borders and small cloud collar with satin stitch embroidery of maidens in garden settings. The sleeves are unusual with a dragon and phoenix design possibly indicating use as a wedding robe or some association with a wedding ceremony. Outstanding condition with no stains or damage to be seen. It measures 48 inches long and sleeves 49 inches sleeve end to sleeve end. Vase on footing, cylindrical body swelling toward a short shoulder and tapering into a smooth spread out rim. On the vase, depicts with a vibrant dragon. This is a reproduction of Ming dynastys drawing during the 1900s. Measures approximately 12″ tall, 4¾” between its widest points, 3½” diameter opening at the top, 4″ diameter at the base, and with weight of 3 lb. Your understanding is much appreciated. As fragile item, I have carefully packed it that wrapped by bubble sheets and surrounded with packing peanuts or styrofoam in the brand new box.
