Antique Chinese Export Silver 3 Piece Dragon Tea Set Cheong Shing. Click Photos to Enlarge. Antique early 20th Century Chinese Export three piece solid silver dragon decorated Tea Set. He Dragon’s body is applied as a cast piece in high relief and encircles the entire piece. The individual pieces are of a good size and are nice heavy gauge silver with fine craftsmanship. All three pieces are in excellent vintage condition. There are a few small nicks & dings, but nothing objectionable. The total weight is 1,293 grams or 41.5 troy ounces. The teapot is 715 grams, 10.5 from the handle to the spout. The main body is about 6 in diameter. The sugar bowl with lid is 340 grams & 6″ handle to handle, & its main body is about 4.5″ in diameter. The creamer weighs 238 grams. All three pieces are hallmarked Chinese Silver along with the Cheong Shing mark, who was active in Shanghai in the early 20th century. All items are guaranteed to be as described.
