English wooden OAK TRAY 1890s superb n. ANTIQUE CHINESE GREY YIXING PEWTER DRAGON TEAPOT SET SUPERB 4 PIECES circa 1890. This very nice quality antique four piece tea set dates from the late 1800s/early 1900s, and is Chinese in origins. A very attractive all matching tea set with superb pewter decoration of dragons, all pieces marked with same makers signature to bases. In very nice original lightly used condition, ideal for use, the inner lid on sugar bowl has damage, and entire set is unpolished to the pewter decoration, but as photos show displays superbly. The largest teapot measures approximately 7&1/2 inches/ 19 cm from spout to back, by 4&1/4 inches/ 11 cm in height. KANGXI MARK 19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE DRAGON TEAPOT. 19th century antique Chinese blue and white porcelain teapot, marked to base with Kangxi Emperor’s four character marks. Teapot painted with dragons among clouds, while Lid decorated with scrolling flowers. Excellent antique condition with no cracks/hairlines or restoration, just some small flakes/frits to rim and one to handle (14). The lid seems like from a different design but it fit perfectly. Height: 13.5cm including lid. Diameter: Approximately 10cm to wider side, spanning 16cm including ear and spout. 2.5CM = 1 INCH. PLEASE KEEP THESE DATES IN YOUR DIARY!
