Antique Chinese Porcelain Dragon Bat Bowl Vase Floral Hand Painted
This is a fabulous antique (Chinese Republic Period) Chinese bowl / vase in great used condition. There is a very small break on the tip of one of the dragons horns. Please see the 9th picture to see the break. There is a raised dragon and bat adorning the top of the bowl. It is hand crafted and hand painted in bright enamels. The body of the vessel has a pretty floral motif from top to bottom. You can see the artist took care to develop a beautiful piece of porcelain pottery. The colors are nice and bright. The dragon is well formed. You can even see its tongue. The dragon represents cosmic energy, while the bat represents good fortune. The bottom is marked China. The bowl measures a little more then 5″ across X 4″ high. I found this and several other wonderful Chinese pieces at an estate of an avid collector. Check back often, as I will be posting them also. Chinese. 900 Silver Repousse Cigarette Case Dragon Serpent Vtg Old Antique
Attractive old Chinese silver cigarette case with a scary, scaly dragon on either side. It has no markings, but does test well for silver, so I assume it is. It measures 2 7/16 by 3 9/16 inches and it weighs 75 grams. Please see my other items for sale: gbit. Antique circa 1900 Chinese blue and white porcelain dragon vase and cover
Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain vase and cover, painted with two dragons amongst peonies, the cover with flowers and foliage and surmounted with a Buddhist lion, made circa 1900. The vase measures 33cm high and has a Chinese four character painted mark to the base. The photographs show the vase from all sides. The condition is excellent with only one small chip to the inside of the rim and a small chip to the inside of the cover, see photographs. I pack all items with great care using bubble wrap, polystyrene chips and suitably sized boxes. All international parcels will be sent Signed-For, Tracked or Tracked and Signed depending on the country postal system. (2.5 cm = 1 inch). Rare 19thC Antique Chinese Export Solid Silver Luen Wo Scene Dragon Tankard Mug Cup. Stunning and rare example of a Chinese Export tankard. Large intricate Dragon form handle. Crafted by Luen Wo with full makers mark. Created from solid silver with the main body of the tankard being double-skinned. Blank monogram which is rare for pieces of this age. 12cm high by 13cm wide including handle. Weight approx – 271.2g. Please note i have not polished this item. In very good used antique condition throughout. A very small dink to the monogram. All delicate parts to dragon, legs, toes etc are intact. And in very good condition. There is some slight silver wear to some of the faces/heads. Has cause some small holes in these places, these are not. Until closer inspection and pointed out. Please view all photos. Antique Vtg Chinese 3D Metallic Dragon Phoenix Embroidered Silk Robe Jacket Coat
Circa 1930s-40s or possibly late 19th century Chinese silk jacket with beautifully handcrafted metallic embroidery. Features three dimensional dragons & phoenixes & two-dimensional roses. The creatures also have pearls for eyes. In fair to good pre-owned condition for its age. There are issues with loose threads throughout both arm areas & along the trimmings. I tried to highlight most of the flaws in photos. Can provide more photos upon request. The silk lining is faded pink with red dye stains. Arm to arm span: 52. Length beneath collar: 26′. If someone can provide more information on age & translation of the label, that would be much appreciated. Antique Chinese Silk EmbroideryDragonsBatsFloralWaves
This is a remarkable antique Chinese embroidered textile, we believe the textile to date prior to 1900. The imagery and symbolism depicted is amazing. Dragons, bats, floral design, waves, really all the bells and whistles that create a great Chinese textile. Extremely interesting subject matter and the embroidery workmanship is divine. Size is 41″ X 60″, this could be a “kang” but we just don’t know for certain based on size. We are extremely interested in educating ourselves and if you are so inclined we would love any information on this item as we are completely impressed with the quality and artistry. Please examine the pictures carefully, there are so many tears and imperfections, mainly in the silk background. I know this piece can be restored, but the new owner needs to understand that this piece is being offered as an AS IS or restoration project.
