Here’s an antique Chinese summer gauze robe with dragon embroidery and gold thread. As you can see from the photos there is some fraying at one shoulder and a bit near the neckline, one sleeve needs a bit of re-sewing and I find a few other small areas that need attention. Overall a spectacular and quite old summer court official robe with auspicious symbols. Armpit to armpit laid flat is 26″ inches across, sleeves from neckline are 40 1/2″ and length is 54.
