This is a late possibly early 20th century piece. Hand carved from lacquer that has been build up, almost feels like pottery / bakelite. The design is attractive and really catches the eye. Signed on the base. Circumference of the largest area: 355mm. Condition report: I believe that this is in a very good condition, taking into consideration it is over 100 years old. Although, it does have a scratch that is 80mm long (not very visible) where there are some chips to the lacquereware.
