For sale is a beautiful Antique Chinese Porcelain Snuff Bottle. The bottle has ” pillar ” shape and is decorated with finely hand painted five-claw dragon chasing the flaming pearl. The design of such bottles was inspired by the tradition of wrapping the columns of a palace with dragon design rugs. The rugs were connected in a way which looked as if the dragons are embracing the pillars. In excellent condition considering the age. No chips or cracks! It is unmarked and there is no cap.
