Rare Chinese Dragon Lamp Wood Floor Carved with Custom New Pagoda Shade 1920s Antique Fabrics. Lamp: 72″ approx height x 16″ wide (base) x including head 22 wide. 14½” Height x 13″ Wide. We rewired the lamp & now has a foot light switch. Riginal 1920s frame & 1920s Chinese patterns inserts, new pleated silk & trim Handmade in our studio. Intricately carved dragon stand, details at the base and raised upon four clawed feet with little faces on the feet, Fantastic piece of art! Such details & beautiful custom carving – solid brown wood & very heavy. Lantern lamp shade decorated with original woven and painted panels depicting robed figures and horses within plainly designed landscapes of subtle mountains and flowering trees, heightened with metallic threads. It is rare to find this type of lamp in such fabulous condition. I can’t find any wear or damage anywhere. It is difficult to capture the true beauty here. It must be seen in person.
