The fine antique amethyst carved dragon vase, was made in later Qing Dynasty. The artist used one original piece of material which has two different colors carved dragons, one dragon is on the top of the cover, anther dragon is on the body of the vase. A cylinder shape lavender sculpted jade bead (with dragon) is strung on a necklace of faceted and melon shaped round old amethyst beads and faceted amethyst nugget beads. Length of necklace 57 cm, jade dragon bead 37 x 14 mm. I have had the chance to acquire a nice quantity of old stock vintage and antique used and unused Chinese beads and jewelry parts. But I do not claim that the entire necklace is vintage, old or antique! It is marked as pre-owned as the parts used are pre-owned, the design is new! Unpaid item cases will be opened thereafter! Please bear in mind that the majority of the beads and ethnic elements I use are OLD or ANTIQUE , even ANCIENT! The show wear and age. I usually mention any defaults in my descriptions but I can overlook a minuscule old chip or dent. Might have very minor defaults NOT specially mentioned in the description. The bracelet is beautifully constructed and is very ornate. There are three faceted AMETHYST gemstones. The hinge and screw closure work great. The bracelet is very substantial and weights 41 grams.
