Antique Chinese Neck Ring Collar Necklace. Reticella Pieced Ajouré Dragon Design and Shou Symbol. Tested as Silver, as no hallmark, see info below. Internal diameter is 13 cm. Internal circumference is 41cm. Clasp closes with a crisp snap. Fabulous condition for age. ANTIQUE CHINESE SILVER COLLAR NECKLACE NECK RING PIERCED DRAGON DESIGN. EXPERTLY CRAFTED CHINESE SILVER NECK RING. Presenting an exceptionally fine antique Chinese silver neck ring / collar necklace. This beautifully crafted silver neck ring is magnificently decorated with pierced dragon designs surrounding an auspicious centrally engraved cartouche of a Shou character. The dragons are finely detailed and beautifully decorated with engraved patterns which wonderfully accentuate the sparkle of the silver. This stylishly tapered collar. Is hinged on one side with a tab press opening a concealed gate clasp, so easy to put on. The metal tests positive for silver at just below sterling grade, and is estimated to be approximately 800 grade silver which is standard for pieces of this nature and period. This substantial necklace weighs approx 36 grams, It has an internal circumference of 16 inches or 40.8 cms and an internal diameter of 13 cm. The necklace has a maximum thickness of 10mm and minimum of 4.8mm. This fine example is presented in excellent antique condition with no breaks, losses or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This superb piece would make a fine addition to any quality antique Chinese silver, Oriental Asian or quality antique vintage jewellery collection. Chinese Walking Stick Cane Solid Silver Collar Malacca Wood Shaft Dragon Design
Lovely Malacca wood and solid silver walking stick or cane. The silver has the Chinese export mark which I think is for 900 silver standard and the makers mark for Po Cheng (Hong Kong) between 1890 and 1930 hence my date estimate of C1900. The silver collar is beautifully decorated with a three claw dragon and is mounted onto a strong Malacca shaft. Lovely tagua nut pommel grown from the elephant palm and native to South America. It measures 91.5 cm 36 inches in length, the pommel is 4.8 cm 1 7/8 inches wide. The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel. It’s in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you’d expect at this age. Some age and use marks to the silver as shown but very light, please see the pictures.
