Well fit cover with center shield, never monogrammed. Framed by dragons battle for sacred pearl amidst streaming fire. This late 19th century Chinese export silver tea caddy is 3 3/4 inches. Across and weighs 9 standard ounces. Tests solid silver, coin purity or higher. In very fine condition. Rich silver patina throughout. The dragon caddy sells worldwide. Fine and Rare Dragon Design Chinese Embroidery Fan Case Collector Item Fine
Listed is a fine and rare Chinese embroidery on gauze fan case. Featured is a central dragon which is on both sides of the case. Allover embroidery in fine counted stitch on a gauze. Colors are very bright and clear. One small damage near the top, please see the photos. Original loop with faux wood coral beads. Please see the estimate. It measures approx 12 inches long.
