Antique 18th/19th century Chinese kesi-kossu textile panel. Dragons with five claws over stylized waves. This beautiful textile is backed by a thin black supporting fabric. The eight and ninth photos show the fabric from the back. The eighth is with camera flash, and the ninth is with bulb behind. These two photos are to show the thinness of the supple black fabric. This fabric was applied to strengthen the piece as a pillow front. Some damage to the panel as seen in photos, but essentially very good antique condition. We have been in the antiques business since the 1970’s. Unfortunately we were unable to re-establish that account after a 3 year hiatus.
