Up for sale is this rare antique Chinese 18th / 19th C Chinese square silk embroidery textile rank badge of highest official rank as the center motif is a large 4-claw dragon. Gorgeous blues and lovely wave and cloud detail. Turned into a tea tray with copper handles perhaps in the late 19th C. Behind glass and looks to be in excellent condition! Tea tray frame measures 11.4 inches by 11.4 inches or 29 cm by 29 cm. Badges for the imperial court, including the Emperor and his consorts, princes and highest rank officials depict a dragon in center.
