I have just moved from my house in NJ where I was a big collector of a variety of objects to outfit my big Victorian. Now that we have moved to Florida, there is just no way to keep so many things. I’ve used this piece in my library in the section of my Asian pieces. Originally acquired in New Jersey. I kept at eye level so the unfinished pieces on the top and bottom were not visible. This is a hand-carved wood dragon figure that is a remnant from a larger piece. This remnant measures 5.5″ long, 2.5″ high and 2.5 deep. Painted gold over red paint. Has an unusual mark on the top that looks like three circles in a circle. Has an eye hook on the top so that it can be hung.
