Included in the sale is a old private collection of Chinese and Japanese cloisonne, a private collection of snuff bottles collected by a diplomat who worked in China in the 1930’s, as well as many other interesting examples of porcelain, bronze, and jade. This listing is for a finely decorated Chinese porcelain tureen with underplate dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. Both pieces are hand painted in underglaze blue with a design of dragons flying amongst clouds and flames. Both pieces measure about 12.5 inches across and the set is in very good condition with no damage. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed. Many of the items we sell are well over 100 years old. Inherently, these items will have some minor or light wear.
