This great hefty large size stand is heavily and profusely carved. The apron is pierce carved with a leaf and fruit design. The four legs stand out with carving that extend their full length with a unique dragon design with scales and paw feet. The octagonal scalloped rouge marble top is inset in a smooth wooden frame with lovely carved beading on the edge. The table is braced on the top and further down the legs to support the heavy hardwood carving and marble top. Overall Top Surface 18-1/2wide. Carving of leg extend beyond the edge of the table top. Marble Insert 13-1/2 wide. No damage to the extensive carving. He finish is bright and polished. Rouge marble has no cracks.
