A Chinese Gilt-bronze’dragon Head’ Finial. Han Dynasty (206 Bc-220 Ad)
Commitment: all items in my shop, no one fake, no one can not matched age what I put. I won’t write any work like how great of my items, how rare or how valuable they are. Only antiques collectors, they own know how valuable or collectable. A CHINESE GILT-BRONZE’DRAGON HEAD’ FINIAL. HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-220 AD). Cast on a slender neck with an open mouth revealing sharp fangs, a long tongue and a crest to the top of the head, the surface with some green patina, together with a modern perspex stand, 20.5cm H, 478g. Good condition, few casting miss holes. Provenance: collection from retired antique dealer of Odiham, he used to trade oriental antiques since 1960s, and his antique shop has closed by 2018. Antique Chinese bronze dragon temple finial plaque statue
Very cool brass/bronze dragon mask. This apparently came from some temple or building used for worship. That is what I was told. It is heavy and it is all metal. Please see all photos there is one wing missing on the right side. Like I said heavy and very very cool! We try to go with the best price. If you need a specific carrier please let us know when you pay. Greyhound will tell me the nearest terminal to you. It is not delivered to your door. Any questions just ask. Antique Chinese Silver Filigree and Enamel Foo Dog Finial Dragon Motif 15.5 Ozt
Antique Chinese Silver Filigree and Enamel Dragon Motif Jar w/Lid Ring Handles. This piece is a stunning antique Chinese Sterling Silver Filigree & Enamel Covered Jar or Tea Caddy, with a figural Foo Dog finial and enamel Dragon Heads around the side of the jar. T he jar measures (with lid) 4 3/4″ x 7″ and weighs an impressive 15.55 troy ounces (483.6 grams). The bottom of the jar is marked with the word “Silver”. This jar is in excellent condition with minor signs of use and has been lightly polished around the lid to show the gilded silver. Some cabochon gems are fully secure in their casing while others wiggle slightly, but none are missing. We looked over the enamel and could not find any chips or cracks. Also, each dragon has a tongue, but some have their tongues up while others are down and visible. While we do our best to accurately describe all items and conditions, we are not perfect, and sometimes condition can be a subjective thing. We always try to err on the conservative side when it comes to grading condition. Your total satisfaction is our goal!
