Alloy, does not test positive for gold or silver content, Kingfisher bird feathers, fabric. This brooch has a bright gilt finish but it does not test positive for silver or gold content. This piece is extremely thin, light in weight and delicate. The dragon is very detailed and colorful with light blue, dark blue, feathers with what looks like red and green fabric/material. There are feathers missing – I would say the brooch is 60% intact still. The setting doesn’t have any bending or dents, no tears to the metal work and there are no signs of solder or repair.
