Antique Late 19thC Chinese Okimono Man with Dragon

A nicely carved antique Chinese okimono depicting a warrior standing on the back of a large dragon and holding aloft a pearl in one hand and grasping a sword in the other. In good condition with one section of the base area reglued and a crack to one of the mans feet which looks to be either from age or drying out a little. The okimono measures 24.5cm tall by 7.5cm wide and 5cm deep. The height including the stand is 27.5cm. Please look at all the photos as they form an important part of the description. Incredible silk thread embroidery of Chinese characters. This panel could be made for something that fold over because the poem is upside down from the drawing. It is framed carefully with high quality matting and frame. 30.5″x5.5″ inside silk and 40.5″X11″ frame. Condition is as shown, there is a few stain and few missing stitches. For sale a large Chinese blue and white vase, beautifully painted with disputing dragons. Chasing a flaming pearl. Amongst clouds, with moulded prunus stock handles. Under-glaze blue four character Kangxi mark. Condition (please study provided pictures for full details). Condition as per image, in perfect original condition, free of chips, cracks or restoration, only bearing a few firing imperfection from kiln, as pictured. Approx H 31cm x D 13cm. Stunning Antique Chinese Leather Purse with Brass Dragon Embossed Eagle

The purse is made from leather, it has been beautifully worked with nice embossed images into the leather, there is an eagle on the front and some kind of fruiting branch on the back. The edge of the leather has metal’stiches’. There is a large brass dragon on the front of the purse. There is a brass multi chain attached to the top of the purse, this has a kind of seal on the end. The seal has a dark surround, I cannot make out what this is made of, possibly Bakelite or horn? There is another brass dragon inside this. Inside the purse it is lovely soft suede. You can see that the leather was once nicely coloured as it has not faded beneath the flap. It is in good condition, there is some minor surface wear, some fading to the colours as mention, one of the chains is no longer attached to the seal, but nothing too major. It is a stunning and very unusual purse. Please see photographs for more details. Width; 5.5 inches / 14 cm. Please drop me a line if you have any questions.
