Beautiful antique Chinese skirt that I believe from an imperial family. Fabulous gold thread Embroidery and silk Forbidden Stitches on silk depicting the Dragon and the Phoenix. There are also bats, fish, fire, peaches, clouds, waves, infinity sign… The facing dragon is like the one in the cover of the book Son of heaven Imperial Arts of China. 37 length and 47 wide at the waist. Wonderful condition, it has minor stains and some fading, the silk is strong.
