ANTIQUE EARLY 18TH CENTURY KANGXI CHINESE PORCELAIN DRAGON PLATE. Chinese early 18th century plate. Excellent color and painting of a ferocious dragon. One of the classic designs of the period painted to show a writhing dragon whose coils go over the plate to wrap around the sides of the dish. It is full faced in the center of the dish. The underside painted with mark of what i believe to be ruyi headed sceptre and scrolls tied with ribbons. MEASURES 1-1/2″ X 9-1/2″.
