Red-ish hard Wax stamp that says “permiss-ion”. COLOR: it is more red than orange, the flash makes it look orange-ish but it is Red. Huge Hand embroidered with pure silk floss on scarlet red silk ground, bright colors, lite blues, indigoes, and couched Giant Gold Dragons, buddhist symbols, fire, clouds, the universal ocean with rainbow waves, flaming pearls of wisdom a super intriguing piece of history! A definite Museum RELIC this is a LARGE robe Condition: This is an authentic piece NOT made for tourist market and WAS USED for decades. It has repairs to it because it was used for the Chinese Opera the sleeves are “Quilted” to repair silk loss as seen in photos there are loose threads and some threadbare shown in picture. Some of the embroidery has been worn away. There are black ink spots 2 in the inside lining but are not on the outside–it looks like someone was covering uo the stamps on the robe to hide something. There is some soiling from use. It is AS IS BEAUTIFUL, LARGE and HEAVY, ORIGINAL and ONE OF A KIND Pure Silk outside robe with inside lining added at a later date, made from Linen?
