An antique Chinese Dragon saucer in famille verte #4. A rare Dragon saucer in famille verte colors. The backside of the dish has the mark Da Qing Dao Guang Nian Zhi. The dish may be from the period or later in Qing Dynasty. Its decorated with double dragons which is chasing after the fire pearl in the clouds. This is a very classic and auspicious decoration in imperial style. Note that the dragons are drawn with only four claws which indicates that the dish is not made for use in the imperial court. It is still of very nice quality and extremely collectable. 4 hairlines and 1 chip. Some small dots from firing process, wear to the painted enamel. High: 2,5 cm. Diameter: 13,5 cm.
