Antique Chinese silver cigarette case. This stunning, high quality cigarette case is heavily embossed and chased to both sides with ornate raised decoration. One side depicts a Chinese dragon, while the other a pretty bird amongst branches and blossom. There is an unused circular cartouche on the front. On the clasp button there seems to be a faded mark which could possibly be 1917 but hard to make out. In very good antique used condition with associated marks and wear. The hinge and clasp are in good order. A high quality piece with stunning design, this would make a superb addition to any collection. Dimensions (closed) 8.5cm L x 6.5cm W x 1.5cm D / 71g weight.
