Truly stunning antique hand sewn and embroidered hat in dragon motif. Made of silk and cotton fabrics. Skull cap is decorated to look like a dragon’s head with bulging eyes, horns, antlers, mouth with red ball inside. Believed to be for a child, possibly festival wear, and estimated to date to late Qing period. No odors, with age-related wear and fading including frayed tassels.
