CHECK OUR OTHER LISTINGS. DESCRIPTION: On offer is this lot of 2 Chinese bronze irons. They date to the 19th Century. These would have actually been used by putting hot coals inside and ironing with the flat bottom. Both have repairs, which I find interesting as this was a time when things were repaired, not just thrown away… They would have had wooden handles, now missing. DIMENSIONS : larger one: 8 1/4 long. CONDITION: Both have repairs as seen in the pics and are missing their handles.
