VERY FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE STERLING SILVER DRAGON LOTUS FIGURAL BASKET BOWL DISH. Listed this week is an amazing collection of Sterling, Solid Silver and Silver Plate from all over the world. Plus Session 2 of our Estate Jewelley collection, including many Solid Gold items! Even the bail handle is finely pierced with beautiful Bamboo and Floral designs. The Basket also has a nice raised foot rim and is much more beautiful than my photos show. The Bowl is marked in Chinese along with a Maker’s Mark H. The Basket has been tested and is guaranteed to be 925 Sterling Silver. The Basket is in excellent condition with some minor pitting to the center but no other problems and no repairs. The Basket is a nice size for Candy or Nuts etc measuring 6″ tall to the top of the bail handle by 6-3/4″ wide across the top or 1-1/2 tall at the dish rim. VERY FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE BRONZE & PAKTONG DRAGON FIGURAL HORSE RIDER STIRRUP. Thank you for having a look at my auctions. We are very excited this week to be featuring our third and last session of items from the Important estate collection of the late Michael Vermeer. Vermeer is literally a famous figure when it comes to Chinese ceramics starting his career in the late 1960s in his early 20s. With close to 50 years experience Mr. Vermeer was thought by many to be one of the worlds top Chinese ceramic experts and authorities. Over the years Mr. I believe this is one of our finest sales to date featuring many of the choice and most important examples from the collection. I do wish everyone the very best of luck winning the auctions! This stirrup is a very interesting and unique example. I did find a similar example with gold gilt work that has identical dragon figural tops as seen. The stirrup shows wear and imperfections consummate with its early age. The stirrup s overall in good intact condition. The stirrup measures 6 1/8 inches tall, by 5 1/8 inches wide, and 4 3/8 inches long. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE AUCTIONS! VERY UNUSUAL ANTIQUE CHINESE UNDERGLAZE BLUE + RED VASE W DRAGONS KANGXI PER

This week Chamberlain Antiques is pleased to offer over 250+ lots of fine Asian antiques and works of art. Included in the sale is an impressive collection of Chinese porcelains, bronzes, jades, paintings, and other works of art. 99 with NO RESERVE. Thank you for looking and good luck!!! The vase is decorated around the body in underglaze blue and red with dragons and flames all done in relief flying around small roundels each containing scenes of figures within a landscape. The detail int he work is exception as can be seen in the photos. The underside is marked in the center and the foot rim reveals a smooth snow white paste. It appears that the vase was cut down at some point but displays well as can be seen in the photos. In addition there are some shallow chips and a couple lines extending from the rim. Finally there is a scratch through the mark on the base. A very unusual piece of Chinese porcelain from the Kangxi period. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed. Many of the items we sell are well over 100 years old. Inherently, these items will have some minor or light wear. Any major flaws and damages ie. A very fine pair of antique Chinese cloisonne vases. Dating to the later 19th/early 20thC. Much better quality than usual, beautifully worked with dragons chasing the flaming pearl on a white ground. Measuring 6.25 inches/16cm tall. The vase on the right has two or three small spots of denting but not bad at all. Everything shown in the large and clear images below. The vase is molded in a very unusual form standing on a tall splayed foot and applied handles to the neck below the garlic top. It is painted around the exterior with mythical creatures and dragons displayed on a iron red pin wheel ground. The underside bearing a six character Xuande mark done in underglaze blue. The vase stands 13 inches (33cm) tall and is heavily potted. It is in excellent condition with only no apparent damages.
