Antique 19th century Chinese bronze sea dragon vase, of wide flared top decorated with leaf shaped reserves of dragons chasing pearls amidst waves, body applied with two dragons amidst waves, flared base with further waves. The vase measures approximately 19.5cm/7.75inches high. The photographs show the vase from all sides. The condition is good apart from being a little misshapen and a crack to the underside of the body, see detail photograph. I pack all items with great care using bubble wrap, polystyrene chips and suitably sized boxes. All international parcels will be sent Signed-For, Tracked or Tracked and Signed depending on the country postal system. (2.5 cm = 1 inch). A Fine antiques Chinese porcelain rice bowls with lid 19th century, Dark Blue color illustrated dragon, the exterior bowl flaming, White gloss sheen interiors, A high quality, extremely fine, thinly potted, unglazed “Plain” design, yet intricately modeled in traditional Chinese taste, with distinctive style, exhibiting a creative spirit and brilliant Chinese artistry. The bowl is presented in pristine condition as shown, with a natural shine and subsequent wiping, observed with a small chips on curbstone from age and ware as displayed, but no cracks, or repairs. And inscriptions are observed at the base, with the maker impressed characters seal mark. Dimensions: The bowl is high approx 2.3 inches (6 cm) from bottom to the top, Diameter 4.7 inches (12 cm). Antique 19th Century Chinese court robe in blue silk with gold metal embroidery. This is a striking robe, with the contrast of the vibrant gold thread against the rich cobalt blue fabric. This is an Imperial Dragon, and the work is beautifully done encompassing many of the elements important to Chinese culture, faith and folklore. It is a mid to late 19th century garment and would have been worn at a ceremony or cultural event by a person of wealth and social status. The robe measures approximately 54″ from shoulder to hem and approximately 27″ from armpit to armpit. Overall, it is in very good condition with a few minor issues in accordance with it’s age. The most notable flaws are one very tiny hole on the back approx 4 from the hemline and some loose threads on sleeves and at one shoulder. Very slight fading on sleeves. No lowball offers please.
