These exquisite 19th century silk shoes from China may be the original platform shoes! Peach-hued silk featuring dragon embroidery and contrasting blue trim stands tall on a 5 inch sculptural base. Hailing from the the Qing dynasty, out antique shoes make a striking display piece and a great acquisition for the serious collector. Approximately 7 long by 6 tall. Overall good condition consistent with age. Considerable shattering and losses of silk. About the item: Pair of antique late 19th century Chinese bronze vases on their original wooden stands , c 1890. They are nicely cast and composed with great dragon decoration in relief – both have a coiling dragon wrapped around the body and neck of the vases. They have aged nicely with good patina /colour. One vase has had an historic repair to the rim (as shown in the photographs) , but otherwise they are in good original condition with only minor surface wear, very much as you would expect from something that is 100 years old. A beautiful and large Chinese porcelain famille vert charger or bowl decorated with a dragon and clouds in shades of green yellow, brown and red all enhanced by gilding. Measures 10 3/4″ in diameter x 1 3/4″ deep. Has an old metal plate hanger attached. A beautiful and rare piece of high quality. Antique Chinese serpentine jade censer hand carved with dragons 19th

This Chinese carved censer is 7 5/8 inches tall and 7 ¼ inches wide. The censer has a carved dragon on the top of the lid and on each handle. There are carved rings around the piece. One that that is unusual about the piece is that it disassembles into 4 pieces. Tool marks are visible and you can tell it was made by hand. There are no marks. This likely dates to the late 19. The only damage is that one of the rings has broken off and is missing on the bottom. There is a nick to a spot on one of the dragon handles.
