The cover with three elders in long robe with child, the center figure possibly a priest. Above, spread wing bat holding a lantern? , clouds rolling along full moon. Opposite side dragons battling amidst clouds, one spewing fire stream. Chain and ring for travel. Interior with liner, possibly later. No visible hallmarks, possibly signed under interior liner. We did not tear back to inspect. We guarantee solid silver, not silver plate. And of the region and age listed. In very fine condition. Retains original detail, including most all of the facial detail. Chain appears original, interior lining may not be. The very rare late 19th century Chinese export silver change purse is 3 1/4.
