The special characteristic of Dehua porcelain is its very small amount of iron oxide that allows the porcelain to be fired in an oxidizing atmosphere to milk white. The Kwan-yin with four children was handcrafted with extremely detail of facial feature, lotus, sea waves, and dragon heads fish. On the lower back of statue, there are the seals of the artist. Measures approximately 21″ tall, 9¾” between its widest points, and with weight of 15 lb. Your understanding is much appreciated.
