Rare Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Cloisonné Bowl With Dragons Circa 1368-1644

2 dragons on the outside, one on each side. Their bodies wrap around the outside. Inside is a l arge dragon face design. This is a very detailed piece. The marking on the bottom translates “Ta Ming Neen Tsaou” or ” Made in the time of the great Ming Dynasty”. There are no condition issues. Just the bowl measures 8 Inches in diameter and 2.5 Inches high. The weight with the stand is 41oz and the weight of just the bowl is 30oz. Very Rare Circa 1900 Hand Carved Chinese Export Sideboard Dragons & Serpents

There are around 50-100 high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page. This cabinet is part of a suite, I have the matching dining table, set of six chairs and one more single chair. This is one of the most extensively carved pieces I have ever seen, every square inch of it is hand carved, there are dragons, floral detailing, Chinese symbols serpent detailing. It really is a tour de force and considered as art furniture. The cabinet comes in three pieces, the base and top are two separate pieces and the very top plinth comes off as well for ease of transport. The base unit has two large cupboards, a kennel section and a single drawer, the top has two large drop front glazed doors which reveal a space which looks to be designed for apothecary type storage, for modern use I imagine it would be ideally suited as a drinks cabinet or for storing dinner services. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it is well over 100 years old so has a genuine and very desirable age relevant patina. Height:- base alone 92.5cm, top alone 102cm total 194.5cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Dragon and Lion Foo dog throne armchair. A really rare an expertly hand carved piece, the detail is never ending and of the highest standard, there are many variations of these chairs, they were being made up until the 1950s but by that time they were much simpler without the level of detail that this chair has, this is one of the very early ones from around 1900. This one is an all singing all dancing fully head to toe carved piece, it looks absolutely stunning from every angle and is actually quite comfortable to sit in. The condition is very good, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, the timber has a nice used patina, there are some old iron supports that have been secured inside the base. Chinese 900 Silver Repousse Tea Set Pot Cups Tray Dragon Bamboo Motif Circa 1920s Unusual Chinese 900 silver repousse & hand chased tea set including tea pot, six cups and octagon shape round serving tray, the tray hand chased with raised Dragon, clouds & Phoenix bird motifs with fire ball in the center, framed in floral sprays with matching floral border. Each cup decorated with triangular design & four repeated floral plaques with’C’ shape handle. Hexagon shape tea pot hand chased & engraved with six plaques depicting dragon, bamboo groove, phoenix bird, Chinese traditional floral motifs & seated eagle a top of shield, double handle, cover and border ornamented with running floral sprays. Each element supported upon elevated circular base. Overall very good condition, minor tarnishing & oxidation, some scratches & minor uneven surface to the tray’s border, couple of minor dents to the cover’s finial.
