19th C. Chinese Cloisonne on Bronze 6.75 Colorful Dragon Bowl

This listing is for an attractive 19th Century Chinese cloisonne on bronze dragon bowl on unusual pedestal base. The bowl is decorated with a colorful mustard-yellow dragon on a blue background in the center and with a sword and other assorted decorative items on the yellow sides with a blue scalloped band around the top border. The exterior of the bowl is also decorated with designs matching the interior sides with a turquoise and green lower border with matching top border on the pedestal base. The base of the bowl is covered with turquoise blue colored enamel. Measures 2 1/2″ high with a 6 3/4″ diameter top and 4 1/2 diameter base. Weighs 14.6 ounces. This nice bowl is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There are a couple of faint no-harm tiny nicks in the enamel on the cobalt blue upper border of the exterior from normal wear that are mentioned for accuracy as they don’t detract at all from this lovely, unusual dish. Beautiful vintage cloisonne enamel over brass lidded box. This piece has a great look to it and measures roughly 1 5/8″ deep 2 7/8″ wide and 3 1/2 long in total. It has beautiful detailing to it. There is some wear and spotting on the lid from age which is to be expected. There is some chipping to the enamel in some places. Please see all photos for details and feel free to ask any questions. Antique Chinese champlevé Archaic Dragon Vase Lamp Chinese Enamel, a form of cloisonné. Made in Early 20th century. Listing is for the single lamp vase. It is about 26.75″ inches Tall (from the bottom of the base, to the top of the lamp) and about 8.5″ inches at its widest point. The actua vase portion is about of 12 inches tall. This is in good condition, normal wear from age, pitting, and also Given the age there is also some oxidation in various parts of the piece basically just normal wear from age. Antique Qing Chinese Medallion Amulet Enamel Twin Fish, Cloisonné Divine Dragon

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Pendant Featuring a Unique Amulet of Enameled Twin Blue Fish and a Large Cloisonné Medallion with a Fearsome, Fiery Five-clawed Divine Dragon. A stunning pendant with unique highly enameled silver amulet with twin blue fish supporting the Chinese character that represents Good Luck or Good Fortune linked to a double sided medallion comprised of two convex disks with the Divine Dragon on Chinese red background in cloisonné. Close examination reveal some black enamel missing from the fish tails and cloisonné missing on both sides of the disk near the top. The silver chains are thought to have been added in the early 70s for distribution in the US. The fish and dragon elements are believed to be from the late Qing Dynasty. Rare and unique treasure in very good antique condition. Clear, well-formed images and characters. The Chinese coin silver amulet consists of twin blue enameled fish surrounding a Chinese character believed to be the symbol of Good Luck and Good Fortune. The blue enamel is bright and beautiful on the fish. The fish hold this distinctive Chinese text. The meanings in Chinese: auspicious, lucky, good luck, fortunate, propitious. The pair of fish, koi. (carp), represents abundance and wealth. It can also be used as a fertility symbol since carp procreate very rapidly. Pairs used in feng shui are considered very auspicious symbols for marriage. Traditionally, a pair of koi represents the sexual unity and fidelity of a married couple and are often given as a wedding gift. The two-inch diameter convex round medallion has a rich Chinese red background with the colorful dragon in golden yellow with a lime green face featured on both sides. The cloisonné is bright and distinct. During the Ming and Qing dynasty. The five-clawed dragon was strictly reserved for use by the Emperor only. The dragon in the Qing dynasty. Appeared on the first Chinese national flag. 4.5 long overall. Fish 1.75″ wide, 1″ tall. The pendant is possibly f. Also called the Manchu (or Manzu). The last of the imperial. Of China, spanning from 1644 to 1911/12. Reestablished diplomatic relations and signed a bilateral trade agreement. This is an exquisite example of the later export from that date. This antique pendant is among a group of pieces representing the finest Chinese silver work from the Qing Dynasty.
