Large antique 19th century Chinese circular box and cover box, painted with seven iron-red dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst clouds. The box and cover measures approximately 26.5cm/10.5inches in diameter and is 17cm/6.5inches high. As can be seen in the photographs the box and cover have been badly damaged and now has repairs and restoration. I pack all items with great care using bubble wrap, polystyrene chips and suitably sized boxes. ADD ME TO YOUR. Impressive early possibly18th century Chinese cut velvet and gold metallic brocaded dragon chair cover. Inky black cut velvet that in the sunlight is very dark blue, probably indigo dye stuff. Central front facing 4 clawed dragon with flaming pearl, clouds and other Buddhist symbols with the earth and sea below, the other end with another front facing dragon. Glimmering gold metallic flat thread brocade, with scrolling tendril design on all four sides. Backed in very early silk with clouds. As found with breaks on all edges, small splits to ground scattered thruout, will need to be mounted and backed. It will arrived with acid free paper to protect and rolled carefully. For sale a very fine & rare Chinese Cloisonne incense burner. The censer is raised on three legs surmounted by beautiful Buddhist lion masks and decorated around the sides with lotus scroll interrupted by a pair of curved bail handles. The cover has further lotus scroll-decorated areas of ruyi that interrupt openwork cloud scrolls and bats below a fine gilt Dragon finial. In QIANLONG style, but dates 19th Century period, Qing. Wooden stand is not included. Condition (please study provided pictures for full details). Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain vase and cover, painted with two dragons amongst peonies, the cover with flowers and foliage and surmounted with a Buddhist lion, made circa 1900. The vase measures 33cm high and has a Chinese four character painted mark to the base. The photographs show the vase from all sides. The condition is excellent with only one small chip to the inside of the rim and a small chip to the inside of the cover, see photographs.
